This nice person had been a patient of mine for many years, but was not ready to really take care of his teeth. Then, the time was right for him and he was ready to begin his journey. After careful examination and consultations, we decided to take his treatment in stages.
Stage 1: Get the gums healthy with periodontal treatment
Stage 2: Stabilize all areas of decay with tooth colored, resin fillings
Stage 3: Use Invisalign to position the teeth in good locations to help us with the final smile makeover
Stage 4: Perform a complete smile makeover using porcelain crowns and bridges and implants
Total treatment time about 3 ½ years (this could have been much quicker, but this patient needed to take treatment in stages).
