CEREC

CEREC is the most advanced piece of technology in the history of the profession.  Fundamentally, it allows an all ceramic dental crown to be fabricated directly in the office and delivered to you in about 1 ½ hours.  What this means for you is that you don't have any traditional impressions, no temporary crowns that often come off and no second appointment meaning no additional needles.  And the fit, strength and esthetics are spectacular.  This is true CAD-CAM technology brought into the dental office to make life easier for you.  And the best part is, because this technology opens doors for treatment options, your out of pocket cost is usually less than before.

Dental lasers have made an amazing impact in dentistry.  They are incredibly precise and we routinely use dental lasers to improve your care.

 

ZOOM Whitening

We offer both "take home whitening" and the in office power whitening called ZOOM.  It will give you a beautiful, radiant smile in about 1½ hours.  And if you whiten your teeth with us, you will be on the Whitening For Life Program. This means that we will give you touch up whitening at each cleaning appointment for the rest of your life.  For free.

Invisalign

Invisalign allows you to have great straight teeth without the wires and brackets of traditional braces.  It utilizes clear, removable trays called aligners.  Treatment is easy and effective.  Patients really like it because it is so convenient and has such a low impact on their day-to-day lives.  See our Before and After photos.

Digital X-rays

Digital x-rays are great because they use about 75% less radiation.  They also allow us to see things more accurately and offer a wide range of clinical advantages.

Intra-Oral Camera

It is very hard to visualize your own teeth so we utilize a pen-sized video camera that shows you exactly what your teeth look like in real time on our monitor.  This allows you to have a clear understanding of your own health so you can make educated decisions about your teeth.

Identifi Oral Cancer Screening Light

Oral cancer can be fatal if not caught in time.  Every new patient and at every hygiene appointment, Dr. Caven will do a visual exam for oral cancer.  But this advanced technology allows us to see what the naked eye cannot.  And with its 99% accuracy, you can have a peace of mind that you are the most healthy you can be.  We recommend it for every new patient and on an annual basis for ongoing care.

iPad Educational Application

Yes, there is an app for that!  Now you don't have to wonder what treatment will be like or how things are done.  With this brilliantly simple app, we can clarify all your questions about what is going on with your tooth and what the procedure will be like.  Now you can have a true understanding of your condition and proposed treatment.

Isolite

This simple little tool helps you stay comfortable during dental procedures.  It removes the water from the working field and creates a stable biting area so your don't have to do all the opening yourself.  It also has a built in light so we can have brilliant illumination during the appointment.
