Full Arch Solutions - Let's Talk about Which Option is Right for You.

The Advantage of Dental Implants

When it comes to replacing all your failing and missing teeth, you have three main options: traditional dentures, implant supported dentures, and full mouth dental implants. The first two options are removable, meaning they can be taken out of your mouth for daily cleaning. This also means when in place, they don’t provide significant stability for eating and talking. Over time, the denture will need repairs or replacement as it becomes worn down from daily use.

The third option, full mouth dental implants, is a “fixed” solution comprised of a precision-crafted full arch prosthesis permanently secured onto 4-8 dental implants placed around your jaw. This solution is not removable (except by the dentist) and restores over 98% functionality for biting and chewing. This set of lifelike teeth will also remain stable no matter if you talk, laugh, yawn, or sneeze! Full arch dental implants are the closest thing to healthy natural teeth available in dentistry today and provide a comparable number of benefits.

A Solution That’s Right for You

Our goal is to provide you with a solution that fits your personal smile goals, lifestyle, and budget. While we certainly have seen life-changing results from patients who choose full mouth dental implants in Jacksonville, FL, you will never feel pressured to pursue any treatment over another. During your consultation, we can help you determine which option is right for you, then design a comprehensive treatment plan to fully restore your smile!

Our Personalized Treatment Process

1

Consultation and Smile Design

Your smile transformation process begins with a personalized consultation with our team and Dr. Richard Caven. Communication is a cornerstone of our practice, and we’ll make sure you have a clear understanding of your mouth, the condition it is in, your treatment options, and pricing and financing. It’s important to us that you feel confident in the treatment you choose and in our experienced team! Next, we’ll take digital radiographs using our sophisticated CBCT machine. This will give us a clear and precise picture of your oral structures and help us create your personalized treatment plan. Most importantly, we’ll utilize our digital smile design technology to provide a virtual smile simulation. You’ll be able to see the likely outcomes of treatment before it begins, as well as make suggestions, so we get your new smile just right.

2

Guided Dental Implant Surgery

The next phase of your treatment involves the surgery to place your dental implants. This surgery is completed by an experienced implant dentist using a custom-fabricated guide that fits in your mouth. We are meticulous in planning your surgery, using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software for the most precise and exacting results to maximize final aesthetics. Your procedure will be completed while you’re resting comfortably under sedation and in most cases, is done in less than a few hours. Once the dental implants are securely in place, a denture will be attached that will provide function and aesthetics as you heal. Rest assured, you’ll never be without teeth during this entire process!

3

Healing and Final Restoration

The healing phase of your treatment will take several months, during which time the dental implants will be fusing with your jawbone. This osseointegration process is what creates the permanent and stable foundation for your final prosthesis. After four months, you’ll receive a custom PMMA denture to further refine the look of your new smile. When you have completely healed, we’ll design your final zirconia fixed bridge that will provide life-like aesthetics and durable function for decades, and potentially the rest of your life! You’ll care for your full mouth dental implants like natural teeth, brushing and using a Waterpik daily to ensure they remain free from infection long-term.
